What projects did you work on during your internship?
While at ZCM, I worked a ton with our accounting team. We worked behind the scenes and moved transactions while compiling the company’s financial statements. We worked with different types of filing and organization of the company invoices. Both incoming and outgoing invoices needed entries that we handled. During all this, my team was supportive and helped me learn by giving me smaller tasks that broadened my understanding of how the Firm operates and manages its system.
How has it prepared you for your future?
As I am still early in my education, I am still unsure about my future and which department I want to be a part of. ZCM set up training sessions with the different departments. We went through each part of the company and explained what they do in a great compact training session. I am so grateful for these sessions because they really helped me understand what options I have in my future.
Was there anything unexpected that came from your internship at ZCM?
It was amazing how helpful everyone was so helpful here at ZCM. Everyone from every department was so kind. During training sessions, the whole office was down-to-earth and personal. Any question I asked was appreciated and welcomed.
